Consider Yourself Hugged

I just love this card. It is so easy to make and a card is just a hug with a fold in the middle so I think the sentiment is perfect!

I CASE’d (Copy & Share Everything) from page 25 of the Annual Catalog. One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is our ability to “get inside” the catalog to see all the recipes of the samples. I was designing my December monthly card class that focused on the ephemera packs. I saw this card in the catalog and knew I wanted to share it with my class!

Using the Fully Flowering & Saying Something ephemera card packs makes it so easy to create a beautiful card quickly. You could even create your cards but leave the sentiments off so you can decide what you need later.

Tone on tone colors with a card give it dimension. I used Basic Beige cardstock with Basic Beige ink and a sponge dauber to make the background. Then some flowers from the Fully Flowering ephemera pack, a few dimensionals, a saying from the Saying Something pack and I was done.

You could add some bling or Wink of Stella to the flowers or an embossed layer of cardstock to ramp the card up, but sometimes you just want simple & pretty.
