Tis the Season!

Have you started wrapping your gifts yet? Have you even checked out your gift wrapping supply stash yet? I know! It’s almost December and while I have purchased some gifts, I haven’t started wrapping and I don’t even know if we have any wrapping paper! Yikes. BUT! I do have tags!

I had a Holiday Gift Tag class and used some Stampin’ Up! products to make things easier. The Touch of Gold Tags Mix & Match had a ton of tags – I think someone counted them and came up with 39 tags! I punched them out and then just began building tags with sentiments from the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera pack (they’re stickers, so you can just stick them to your gifts if you desire!). I cut up some of the pages from the Christmas Tags & More 6″ x 6″ Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper or used some of the precut designs in that package and just started gluing!

I also used the Patterned Tags Dies (I LOVE those dies…they’ll be staying in my stash!). The Patterned Tags dies are cut out with the Cut & Emboss machine and you can mix and match the base and different patterned tops. Some of the class attendees used Designers Series Paper for the bottom or tops and it changed whole look of the tag. Pages 56 & 57 of the September to December Mini Catalog have some great examples of tags plus there are templates on page 14 for more inspiration.
