I’m almost ready! I’ve got my scrapbooking supplies and projects packed and ready to go to a Scrapbook Retreat this weekend. I haven’t packed any clothes yet (who needs anything like that???) but my projects are all packed and waiting. I’m so excited to go as an attendee – and not be the host! I’ll be able to get lots done and take good notes from someone who hosts several crops a year. I’m still learning how to be a successful craft retreat host!

BUT! My craft retreat is quickly approaching – October 17th to October 19th at the Valley Oak Event Center at the Quality Inn Hotel in Geneseo. The cost is $195 for the whole weekend of $85 for Saturday only. You’ll get 8′ of personal crafting space, dinner on Friday & Saturday, and a Sunday brunch. Coffee and water available each day and cookie trays on Friday & Saturday to keep you energy up! The early bird special of $15 off your registration ends September 19th, so be sure to register before then and put EARLYBIRD in as a code at the beginning of the registration!

I’m also holding Holiday Tag classes during the retreat – but anyone can register for those, you don’t have to be a Retreat attendee to come – Friday, Oct. 17th at 7 pm or Saturday, Oct. 18th at 2 pm. You’ll find the registration for those classes at the above link. Cost is $36 and you’ll have lots of supplies left over to keep making those holiday tags. These tag classes will be held at the Valley Oak Event Center in Geneseo.
I’m also holding the Holiday Tag Classes on November 1st & November 17th at my studio. You can use the links below to register for any of the Holiday Tag Classes.

And lastly….big news from Stampin’ Up! as it pertains to virtual classes & retreats!! The Virtual Album Retreat that was recently held was a huge success so Stampin’ Up! has decided to create more virtual classes and retreats for both scrapbooking and card making. The details are still being worked out but the dates for the Virtual Card Retreat are January 22-23, 2026. I can’t wait to hear more about these virtual options and I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
I think that’s all for now…I’m off to pack some clothes for the upcoming weekend. Probably a good idea…..
