I made some boxes for the recent Dream Wedding Expo. To show how you could reduce some costs by making your own favor holders. They are so stinkin’ cute…I loved the small ones so much, I made a bigger one, just for fun! The supplies I used are at the bottom of the page.

The sizes for the small box are cardstock cut at 4″ x 5″ and scored at 1″ on all sides. Cut the top at the exact size of 4″ x 5″. Cut the bottom a smidge smaller – maybe 1/8″ less. You want a tight fit but not two tight.

Cut up from the bottom on two score lines. Make sure you use your 1″ circle punch on the sides of the top to give you the ability to open the box. A video would make this so much easier to explain….

PS – the large box is 6″ x 7″, scored at 1″ on all sides. As long as the sizes are one inch off (ie, 11″ x 12″, 8″x 9″) I think you’re all good!
