I left Raleigh this morning and I’m only a few hours from home. But driving alone all day gives you time for reflection and it’s been an interesting trip.
I joined Stampin’ Up! in August 2010 so I would have something to do at craft shows while my husband & mother sold their photographs and handmade jackets. I had used Stampin’ Up! products before then and I loved the quality and color coordination.
But I’ll be honest, I also joined to get the discount so I could feed my habit of crafting. I never planned to work it as a small business, but that just evolved as time went on. I love sharing and teaching others how to create beautiful handmade paper products.
My SU business brings me great joy and I will be doing it for a long time to come. There are times when life throws things in our paths, and we lose our momentum. By this time in the year, I’m tired from the holidays, the depressing weather, the annual respiratory illness, and the lack of sunshine. So, an in person gathering of other SU demonstrators is just what I need to get re-energized.
This trip was no exception. As I watched all the Rewards & Recognitions, I realized a few things – I’ll celebrate my 15th Stampin’ Up! Anniversary in August. Wow! But the bigger realization was that I am less than $5,000 away from Career-to-Date Sales of $100,000!
I will be able to walk across the stage next March to celebrate my 15 years with Stampin’ Up! And my goal is to earn those last dollars to get to my Career-to-Date Sales of $100,000 so I can walk across the stage for that accomplishment too! I appreciate everyone who has placed an order or attended a class. I truly love all the friendships I’ve made with all of you because of my SU business. I love the laughs we have when we get together. You brighten my day, and I don’t know where I’d be without you in my life.
Thank you again for your support. I appreciate all of you. And I hope to see you at a class soon! Keep on crafting….
