Oh my gosh! Where has the time gone???? You know how it goes…you have all the good intentions to get things done, but life has the tendency to get in the way. I’m sorry I haven’t been here in so long. But things are getting a little easier – I’ve retired from my law practice and I’m selling real estate, but only on a part time basis. Primarily because there isn’t much activity in the real estate market!
The good news is that the down turn in real estate has allowed me to do my first love…stamping! And I’m trying something new – a multi day craft retreat in November. I’ve been to one and loved that I could spread all my stuff out and just craft for hours and hours…no interruptions (“what’s for dinner?”), no chores to do (the incessant bell from the dryer), just my crafting project in front of me. So, I hope you’ll consider joining us for the Fall Crafty Crop Days at the Avon Inn in November. Doors will open on Saturday, November 11th at 8 am and you’ll have until 10 pm to craft your heart out! Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included. Then you’ll come back on Sunday, November 12th from 8 am to 2 pm (or whatever your schedule allows!) for more crafting and brunch. A cash bar will be available both days. You’ll get a goodie bag at check in (I’m having so much fun filling these with goodies…) and there will be drawings throughout both days. Plus, there will be lots of retired Stampin’ Up! products for sale at a discount. Rooms are available for rent at the Avon Inn if you don’t want to drive and you can contact them for the rates (Jennifer is giving us a discount, just tell her you’re attending the craft crop).
Cost is $165 and must be paid in full by August 1st. An Early Bird Special is available – if paid in full by June 1st, the cost is $155. Payments by credit/debit card will incur a 3% processing fee. Space is limited, so register soon! Contact me and I’ll send you the info sheet and registration form (unless I can figure out how to attach it!). It will be a great time and you need a get away. Get those holiday cards done or work on that scrapbook for your graduating senior…talk about time getting away from you! Hope to see you at the Fall Crafty Crop Days.
