Finally…some play time!

Hello all.  I haven’t had much time to play lately.  Looking for a job is a full time job in itself!  So, I promised myself that I would play today.  I got the Perennial Birthday Project Kit from Stampin’ Up! last week.  What a great kit!  I bought the stamp set too because I love that stamp set just all on its own.

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiments and that was very helpful.  Speaking of the Stamp-a-ma-jig….I’m missing the plastic piece that goes with it.  I think someone borrowed the plastic piece at a card buffet.  Please look through your supplies….it is a square piece of clear plastic and there will be a green sticker on it.  It would be good to have that back!

Here is how I lined up the sentiments.  It helped to use some washi tape to hold it in place. I made one each of the cards to see how they went together.  I like the selection and will definitely use the stamp by itself in the future.  Here’s what they look like finished.

But….there are some great kits in the catalogs.  I love them all!  They start on page 10 of the Annual Catalog and they are on pages 15 and 16 of the Occasions catalog.  So, I’m going to hold a Pick Your Kit class.  YOU get to pick the kit you love the most!  Depending on the kit, the prices vary.  They range from $27 to $37 and some come complete but others require the stamp set.  You pick the set you want and pay me for the set (you have to pay tax and shipping).  Then you come to my studio and make your kit!  I have some of the stamp sets that you can use (like the Perennial Birthday stamp set).  All the sets require adhesives and scissors that you have to bring.  Remember, it’s Sale-A-Bration, so you might want to purchase additional items to get to the magic $50 so you can get a free item of your choice!

The class will be on Sunday, March 4th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Your kit will be ready and waiting and I’ll help you put everything together!  I have room for 6 people, so grab some friends – they can do whatever kit they like!
