I got my Stampin’ Up! order and some of the new Designer Series Paper. I always love flowers, so the Florals in Bloom was a pretty easy pick for me. Some of the sheets are busy, so I think I’ll use them as accent pieces on cards or scrapbook pages. Then I punched out the coordinating cardstock colors for easy reference. These sampler sheets make it easier to see both sides of the DSP at once. Florals in Bloom has it’s own suite and it is featured on the cover of the new catalog. You can find the suite on pages 40-47 of the catalog.

The Kintsugi Inspirations Designer Series Paper is breathtaking. Kintsugi is a traditional Jamanese technique of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer. The mended gold veins become a celebration of imperfection instead of hiding it. I love that philosophy…and so does Stampin’ Up! There is a whole suite of Kinsugi Inspirations on pages 58-60 of the new annual catalog. Check it out!
It’s time to get back to creating…I think I’ll tackle the Beautiful Gallery DSP next. That has 24 different designs (12 double-sided designs) so I may have to cut smaller squares or put it on two sheets!
I’ve listed the products below if you are interested in seeing them. You can click on the description to purchase them. Have fun creating!
