There’s always a goodie bag at my craft retreats. I try to put items in that you might need, like kleenex, hand lotion, chap stick, etc. And I always include mints of some sort. I saw this design on Mary Fish’s blog and just loved the way they turned out, so I knew I needed to make them. And they are sooo easy!
The dimensions for the cardstock are 9″ x 2″. I suggest a smidge smaller than 2″ if you are using the Elegant Edge Tag Topper punch from Stampin’ Up! because 2″ is just a hair to big to put in the punch.
TIP: If you are making multiples of the holders, I suggest you cut the cardstock to 9″ and a width divisible by 2″ and score first. It will make this go so much quicker! I didn’t, so there was a lot of scoring….
Designer Series Paper or patterned paper: 1-7/8″ x 2-3/4″. Scrap of cardstock for sentiment.
Score along the 9″ side at 1″, 1-5/16″, 4-3/16″; rotate 180 degrees and repeat.
Punch both ends in tag topper punch. Put Tear & Tape or strong adhesive along the top, just under the tag topper punch. Adhere Designer Series Paper or patterned paper to front of holder. Remember to check the direction of the DSP if there is a pattern that needs to be right side up!
Crease on score lines – see photo below for top of holder. Close with Tear & Tape. Stamp sentiment onto scrap and tie onto holder. I used the Bright Borders stamp and the 1-3/4″ circle punch with Secret Sea (my new favorite ink color!). The Tic Tac containers fit in there perfectly.

I hope you get a chance to make a few of these – you’ll be hooked! Have fun crafting!
